How to Access *Free* LGBTQ+ Affirming K-12 E-Books for Your Computer, Phone, Tablet, or E-Reader
-
Visit your public library's website and open their page for e-books
-
Click the links of the e-book databases they have listed (such as Hoopla, OverDrive, or RBdigital)
-
Use your library card to log in to these e-book databases. Note: If you don't have a library card, many libraries are providing temporary library card numbers to those who submit a request for one via email. If you still can't get a library card, you can still access books without one through the National Emergency Library or by using the code "ctstatelib20" on RBdigital (look for links below).
-
The below books are all LGBTQ+ affirming and available via at least one free e-book database. Click the link for the e-book database that your library gives you access to.
-
In addition to reading these books for your own enjoyment, we encourage you to use them for remote-learning assignments, and to discuss them over video with friends (or your GSA)!
